INTERNATIONAL CRICKET STARS COME TO HAVERHILL CRICKET CLUB
Haverhill prepares for a return visit of the international star players of Lashings World XI – the world’s greatest cricket club side.
Haverhill Cricket Club is delighted to announce their plans for a repeat of last year’s event that will take place on Thursday 19th August 2010 at The Manor Road Ground, Haverhill. Haverhill cricketers will be taking on the renowned Lashings World XI team to help raise funds for the clubs youth coaching program.
The Lashings team line-up for 2010 includes Chris Harris, Richie Richardson, Curtley Ambrose, Courtney Walsh, Herschelle Gibbs, Ian Harvey, Aravinda de Silva, Wasim Jaffer, Rashid Latif, Mark Ealham, Gordon Greenidge, John Emburey, Devon Malcolm, Henry Olonga, Ed Giddins, Phil Defreitas, Saqlain Mushtaq, Mohammad Akram, Alan Mullally, Tino Best, Graeme Hick, Darren Gough. Although this may seem an impossible challenge, the game does promise a day of fun for all involved.
Here is a mock up photo of what we hope the lashings event will look like this year with a nice blue sky and no rain clouds in sight!
