At the recent AGM the club took a decision to regretably pull the second team out of the midweek league.
The main reasons for doing so were:
The decision to enter the Two Counties League Division 9 for season 2007. All the players that were playing in the second team now have the opportunity to play weekend cricket and this was felt to be of a better standard of cricket and grounds to give experience to our youngsters and new players
The pressure on the ground playing so many games was too much so something had to give and this was the obvious choice.
